Formed in Ipswich in 2009, Basement emerged from the UK underground with a sound that fused hardcore grit with the emotional pull of ‘90s alternative rock. Even a hiatus couldn’t slow their momentum — 2016’s Promise Everything proved the connection between band and audience was stronger than ever.
