Drake
Drake, born on October 24, 1986 in Toronto, Ontario, is a Canadian actor and recording artist. He gained initial fame for his role as Jimmy Brooks on the TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation. As a rapper, he goes by the name Drake. In June 2009, he officially signed with Lil Wayne's record label after establishing a close affiliation with it earlier in his career.
Drake comes from a musical background; his father Dennis Graham was a drummer who worked with Jerry Lee Lewis, and he is also related to musicians Larry Graham and Teenie Hodges. His parents divorced when he was young, and he was raised by his mother in Toronto's affluent Forest Hill neighborhood. Despite not graduating high school from Forest Hill Collegiate Institute, Drake discovered acting there and spent summers with his father in Memphis.
