Elliott Sharp

Elliott Sharp is a highly accomplished musician, known for his expertise in experimental music. Born on March 1, 1951 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, Sharp's musical journey began at a young age when he started playing the piano. However, his interests soon shifted towards the clarinet and guitar.

Sharp's passion for science led him to build his own effects boxes for his instruments. This curiosity also fueled his fascination with various genres of experimental music including contemporary classical, free jazz, and sophisticated rock.

Throughout his career, Sharp has collaborated with renowned musicians such as *John Zorn*, *Wayne Horvitz*, *Bobby Previte*, and *Butch Morris*. His music draws inspiration from an eclectic range of influences including Coltrane, Zappa, Xenakis and more.
