Elvin Brandhi

Freya Edmondes, known as Elvin Brandhi, is an improvising lyricist and beat producer. She studied at the Fine Art's Academy in Berlin and Vienna and is involved in performance groups that organize interventions in public spaces. Since 2013, she has collaborated with various improvisors and performed at festivals such as Borealis Festival, Kraak Festival, TUSK Festival, Sonic Acts festival, Counterflows, Guelph Jazz Festival and Colloquium. In 2017, she received a PRS Oram Award for Innovative Female Musicians and participated in a fellowship program in Senegal.
