Joe Strummer
Joe Strummer was a renowned songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist. He co-founded The 101'ers and The Clash before forming Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros and Joe Strummer & The Latino Rockabilly War. In addition to his musical career, he also founded a Spanish label with Antonio Escobar in Granada.
Born on August 21, 1952 in Ankara, Turkey, Joe Strummer sadly passed away on December 22, 2002 in Broomfield, Somerset, England due to congenital heart failure. Before his music career took off, he worked as a gravedigger at Saint Woolos Cemetery.
