Known for his iconic compositions such as "Me And Bobby McGee," "For The Good Times," and "Help Me Make It Through the Night," Kristofferson has established himself as both a respected recording artist and songwriter.

In 2004, he was honored with induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame. Despite his success in the country music scene, Kristofferson's left-wing views have made him somewhat of a misfit among his peers.
