Liturgy

Liturgy is an American "transcendental black metal" band from Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 2008 by Hunter Hunt-Hendrix, the band started as a solo project and later expanded to a four-piece group. After releasing their debut 12-inch record "Immortal Life," Liturgy gained recognition and signed with Thrill Jockey. Their second album, "Aesthethica," was featured in Spin Magazine's "50 Best Albums of 2011" list. Although some members left the band around 2012, they reunited to record their third studio album, "The Ark Work."

The current lineup consists of Hunter Hunt-Hendrix on guitar and vocals, Mario Miron on guitar, Tia Vincent-Clark on bass, and Leo Didkovsky on drums.
