Los Straitjackets

Los Straitjackets is a Nashville based band known primarily for performing instrumental surf music. The band was formed in 1988 by guitarists Eddie Angel and Danny Amis, along with drummer Jimmy Lester. Although they initially broke up after playing several gigs, Los Straitjackets reformed in 1994 with the addition of bass player Scott Esbeck. They are recognized for their energetic live performances and their use of DiPinto guitars.

With influences from artists such as *The Aqua Velvets*, *Man Or Astro-Man?*, and *Dick Dale & His Del-Tones*, Los Straitjackets has carved out a unique place in the surf music genre. Their sound is characterized by catchy melodies, tight harmonies, and skillful guitar work.
