MF Robots

MF Robots is a British funk/soul duo formed by former drummer, songwriter, producer, and founder of the Brand New Heavies - *Jan Kincaid*, and vocalist and multi-instrumentalist *Dawn Joseph*. Their musical journey began when Joseph joined the Heavies in 2013 as a singer. The instant connection between Kincaid and Joseph led to them writing songs together within their first week of collaboration. Their creative synergy resulted in an abundance of songs that couldn't all be released by the Heavies.

Determined to continue their musical partnership, MF Robots was born. With Joseph's soulful vocals paying homage to the golden age of soul but with a contemporary twist, and Kincaid's infectious rhythms, they crafted their own unique sound. They released their debut album "Music for Robots" in 2018, followed by "Happy Song" in 2022. The latter includes the remix single "Make The Call / The Love It Takes," featuring remixes by Two Soul Fusion (Louie Vega from Masters At Work fame and Josh Milan from Blaze fame) and Atjazz.
