Neville Staple

English ska musician Neville Staple was born on April 11, 1955, in Manchester Parish, Jamaica. With a career spanning over four decades, Neville has become an influential figure in the music industry. He is best known as a member of The Specials and Fun Boy Three, two iconic bands that helped shape the ska and new wave genres. As a solo artist, Neville continues to captivate audiences with his unique blend of reggae, ska, and punk sounds. His powerful vocals and energetic stage presence make him a must-see performer.

Neville's musical journey began at a young age when he moved to England in the late 1960s. Immersed in the vibrant British music scene, he quickly fell in love with reggae and ska music. In the late 1970s, Neville joined The Specials as their toaster and vocalist, contributing to their chart-topping hits such as "Ghost Town" and "A Message to You Rudy."

After leaving The Specials in 1981, Neville formed Fun Boy Three alongside fellow bandmates Terry Hall and Lynval Golding. Together they achieved commercial success with songs like "The Lunatics Have Taken Over the Asylum." Following the disbandment of Fun Boy Three in 1983, Neville embarked on a solo career.
