Pacific Range

Pacific Range is a California-based band that draws inspiration from iconic groups like The Allman Brothers and Grateful Dead. Formed by Seamus Turner and Nate Ward in 2013, the band started as Dakota Cree and quickly gained popularity on the local music scene. Over time, they expanded to include Cameron Wehrle, Stewart Forgey, and Jade, creating a dynamic five-piece ensemble. Their debut album "High Upon the Mountain," produced by Dan Horne, showcases their unique sound with special guest appearances from renowned musicians.

Rooted in the sunny coast of California, Pacific Range's style is influenced by legendary bands such as The Band and The Flying Burrito Brothers. Seamus Turner (guitar & vocals) and Nate Ward (drums) first crossed paths while studying music at Chico State in 2013. After discovering their musical chemistry during jam sessions, they formed Dakota Cree and began recording an EP at their university's studio. Soon after, they started performing at various school events and local clubs.

The band underwent several changes before settling in Los Angeles as a five-piece group. Cameron Wehrle joined after meeting Nate and Seamus at the Hotel Cafe where they bonded over their shared love for The Allman Brothers. He then brought along his high school friend Stewart Forgey who had previously played with him in Echophonix. Finally, Jade completed the lineup through a serendipitous encounter.
