Poco

Poco is an American country rock band that was formed in 1968. The band emerged from the remnants of Buffalo Springfield and can be considered one of the pioneers in crossing over from rock to country music. They started their live career at The Troubadour under different names, eventually settling on Poco. Known for their tight, energetic, and upbeat performances, they gained recognition for their positive energy and extension of Richie Furay and Jim Messina's work on Buffalo Springfield's final album. Over the years, Poco has seen various members come and go, with Rusty Young being the only constant member since its inception.

The original lineup consisted of Rusty Young on pedal steel guitar, Richie Furay and Jim Messina as singers and guitarists, Randy Meisner on bass, and George Grantham on drums. However, Meisner left during the recording of their first album. Despite these changes in personnel throughout their career, Poco continued to evolve with veteran singer-guitarist Paul Cotton joining the band at one point.

In 2013, Poco released their latest studio album "All Fired Up" with Rusty Young still leading the way alongside Jack Sundrud on vocals, George Lawrence on drums, and Michael Webb on keyboards. With a rich history spanning decades and a unique blend of country and rock influences in their music style, Poco remains a beloved name in American music.
