Roy Ayers
American funk/soul/jazz composer, vibraphone player, and artist. Roy Ayers was born on 10 September 1940 in Los Angeles, California, USA. With a musical upbringing thanks to his trombone playing father and piano teaching mother, Ayers became immersed in music from an early age.
Throughout his career as a prolific recording artist, Ayers has produced numerous hits including "Everybody Loves The Sunshine" and "Running Away". He has also collaborated with renowned musician Fela Kuti on the track "Africa - Centre Of The World", showcasing his versatility and talent across various genres.
