The Chi-Lites

The Chi-Lites are a soul/funk group that was formed in 1959 in Chicago, Illinois. Originally called the Hi-Lites, they changed their name to incorporate the 'Chi' from their hometown. Led by Eugene Record, they released 15 albums between 1969 and 1990.

Known for their timeless classics "Have You Seen Her" and "Oh Girl", The Chi-Lites have left an indelible mark on the music industry. Their smooth harmonies and heartfelt lyrics continue to resonate with audiences today.

In addition to Eugene Record's leadership, Frank "T'Challah" Reed joined The Chi-Lites in 1988 and remained with them until his untimely passing in February 2014. His powerful vocals added depth and richness to the group's sound.
