The Delgados

The Delgados are a Scottish indie rock band hailing from Motherwell, North Lanarkshire. Formed in 1994, the band consisted of Alun Woodward on vocals and guitar, Stewart Henderson on bass, Paul Savage on drums, and Emma Pollock on vocals and guitar. They were signed to Chemikal Underground label.

After an impressive run in the music industry, The Delgados decided to part ways in April 2005. However, they surprised fans by reuniting in June 2022 after a hiatus of 17 years. Remarkably, the band has maintained its original lineup throughout their career.
