Thomas Bangalter

Thomas Bangalter is a French musician, record producer, singer, songwriter, DJ and composer. He was born on January 3, 1975. Bangalter is best known as one half of the iconic duo Daft Punk. His father, Daniel Bangalter (also known as Daniel Vangarde), composed music for Ottawan.

Prior to the Daft Punk phenomenon, Bangalter gained recognition through his work with the group Darlin'. He then released two popular EPs titled 'Trax On Da Rocks', which showcased his talent for creating funky House and Techno beats using various samples.

In addition to his contributions to Daft Punk's success, Bangalter has also made significant solo achievements. He released the hit single 'Music Sounds Better With You' under his own label Roulé as part of Stardust. Furthermore, he produced a remix for "Rock Shock" by Roy Davis Jr.

Bangalter's career faced controversy when Bob Sinclar included his track 'Gym Tonic' without consent on the album "Paradise". This led to a lawsuit from Jane Fonda due to illegal sampling of her voice on the record.
