Yard Act

Yard Act formed in Leeds in 2019, turning post-punk into something wiry, funny and sharply observant. Their songs skewer modern Britain with dry wit and spoken-word bite, but there’s warmth in there too. The Overload introduced that voice brilliantly, and later records kept stretching the band’s restless, dance-minded edge.
