Rev Ola

Rev-Ola is a reissues and rarities label that was originally established as a sublabel of Creation Records by Joe Foster. After Creation Records closed in 1999, Rev-Ola continued to thrive with distribution through PoppyDisc, a label created by Alan McGee and Joe Foster. Currently, Rev-Ola is exclusively distributed worldwide via ACE Records. In the past, a limited selection of CD-only pre-2009 back catalog was available through Cherry Red Records under a short non-exclusive license from Joe Foster.

The catalogue numbers for releases distributed by Creation Records are prefixed with CREV, while those distributed by Cherry Red Records are prefixed with CRREV. PoppyDisc releases were assigned main PoppyDisc catalogue numbers such as PoppyLP and PoppyCD. As for RevOla releases distributed via ACE Records, their catalogue numbers are prefixed with CREV.
