Annette Peacock is an American avant-garde and jazz singer, musician, lyricist, composer, arranger, and producer. Born in 1941 in Brooklyn, New York, she has made significant contributions to the world of music. Annette was married to bassist Gary Peacock before their divorce. She then became closely associated with pianist Paul Bley. Annette is considered a pioneer of electronic music for her early experiments with the Moog synthesizer.

Her groundbreaking work led to the creation of the Bley-Peacock Synthesizer Show project. As a founder of l61342, Annette continues to push boundaries and explore new sounds in her compositions. Her unique style and innovative approach have influenced many artists in the industry.
