Rapper from South Bronx, New York City. Born November 10, 1971, died February 7, 2000. Known as Big Pun, he started his career in the late 80's-early 90's as a member of the rap group Full-A-Clips. Later on, he joined forces with fellow Latin Bronx rapper Fat Joe and emerged as one of the most influential artists in the industry. Unfortunately, at the age of 28, Big Pun passed away due to a heart attack and respiratory failure caused by his serious weight problem.
