Depeche Mode is an English electronic music band formed in 1980. The group gained popularity with their debut album "Speak & Spell" in 1981 and went on to release groundbreaking albums like "Construction Time Again" and "Some Great Reward." With hits such as "Enjoy the Silence" and "Personal Jesus," they became a dominant force in mainstream electronic music. Despite facing internal tensions, the band continued to create music, releasing successful albums like "Violator" and "Songs of Faith and Devotion."
