Four Tet is a British post-rock/electronic musician, DJ, producer, and label boss. He was born in September 1977 in London, England, UK. Kieran Hebden, his real name, is not only a recording artist but also runs his own label called Text Records. He started his music career as part of the post-rock band Fridge in 1994 before transitioning into more electronic sounds under the alias Four Tet. Additionally, Hebden has collaborated extensively with jazz drummer Steve Reid during the latter's life.

As promised - Kieran Hebden aka Four Tet sticks to his promise and drops his brand new set Sixteen Oceans on his own Text label. Released on CD and double vinyl (one side of vinyl remains a surprise) it once again showcases the man at the top of his game - dropping sublime melodies one minute and rough rollers the next. Y'all already know Baby, Teenage Birdsong and 4T Recordings and how amazing they are so add that to the other thirteen tracks and I'm sure you have one of the albums of 2020 already.
