IC3PEAK is a duo of audiovisual artists based in Moscow, Russia. They are known for creating captivating music as well as visually stunning content such as photography, music videos, cover art, and merchandise.

Their unique sound combines analog and digital elements, resulting in a natural synthesis of deep bass, icy and sharp vocals, and the haunting wailing of DIY synths. Emerged from the both demonized and romanticized “Evil Empire" IC3PEAK, whose concerts were prohibited in Russia because of their stance against the regime, had to flee their home, and now are coming back with their new full-length project.

"Kiss Of Death” is the first ever album in the history of IC3PEAK devoted to the theme of Love. Love at first sight. On a deeper level - it dives towards the very basis of human condition - love and death, and dichotomy of two. The band's music logically evolved into a more live-leaning sound with thrash-metal guitars, live drums and ear-popping vocal acrobatics - high pitched vocals are spiced with folk growling. Dark bilingual poetry remains provocative and terrifying in its imagery. Even more are IC3PEAK’s videos which are rebelliously deconstructing Russian reality and criticizing dictatorship of the living dead. Following a resonant “Death No More” video after which the duo had been politically persecuted and blacklisted, they present a sequel “Dead But Pretty” - mortified by repressive machine IC3PEAK are coming to life to perform at the Red Square in front of their “fans” - a police crowd moshing at the show. A twisted combination you’ve never seen before.

The band teamed up with Grimes for their focus track, Last Day / Новый День, which made for a sonic rollercoaster of a song. Starting with light synths and playful singing, the track turns to terror during the metal breakdown of the chorus as singer Nastya screams “What if it’s my last day? And I will never see your face again?” A line which can be seen as the epitome of the album’s theme of love and death.
