Drummer and keyboardist Lol Tolhurst, born on February 3rd, 1959, was a founding member of The Cure. Unfortunately, due to struggles with alcohol and drug abuse, he was let go from the band in 1989. Undeterred, Tolhurst went on to work on various projects and eventually formed Levinhurst alongside his wife Cindy Levinson.
Lol Tolhurst is widely recognized for his contributions as a drummer and keyboardist in the influential band The Cure. However, his journey has not been without its challenges. After battling with addiction issues, he parted ways with the band in 1989. Determined to continue pursuing his passion for music, Tolhurst embarked on new ventures and ultimately co-founded Levinhurst alongside his wife Cindy Levinson.
