He was posthumously inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 1989 (Performer) and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1994.

Born on September 9, 1941 in Dawson, Georgia, USA, Otis Redding tragically died on December 10, 1967 near Madison, Wisconsin, USA in a plane crash.
