Sir James Paul McCartney CH MBE is a British singer, composer/songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist most famous for being a member of The Beatles. He is also a published poet, painter, philanthropist, animal rights activist, and multi-media executive/producer. McCartney has been recognised as the most successful and popular composer/songwriter/entertainer in the history of popular music.

After the Beatles disbanded, he debuted as a solo artist with the 1970 album "McCartney" and formed the band Wings with his first wife, Linda, and Denny Laine. He resumed his solo career after Wings broke up in April 1981.

McCartney received appointment as Member of the Order of the British Empire in 1965 and was knighted for services to music in 1997. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame both as a member of The Beatles (1988) and as a solo artist (1999). In addition to his musical achievements, McCartney has had personal successes including marriage to Linda McCartney until her passing; fathering children Mary McCartney, Stella McCartney, James McCartney; marrying Heather Mills with whom they had daughter Beatrice Milly before separating; finally marrying Nancy Shevell.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Rupert the Bear, MPL has restored and remastered in 4K the BAFTA winning Rupert and the Frog Song a 1984 short animated film, directed by Geoff Dunbar.

To accompany the film a reimagined picture disc for We All Stand Together is also released. The track hit #3 on the UK Singles chart and then charted again a year later in 1985.

The 10” shaped picture disc with the iconic image of Rupert The Bear and Paul McCartney is packaged in a die cut sleeve to highlight the shaped vinyl and includes an exclusive folded poster in the sleeve and outer mailer.
