Pussy Galore was an American garage rock/noise/punk band from Washington, D.C. The band was formed in 1985 and disbanded in 1990. Known for their raw and chaotic sound, Pussy Galore influenced the underground music scene with their unique blend of genres.

After their breakup, some members went on to play in other notable bands such as Sonic Youth, Boss Hog, Thee Headcoats, Free Kitten, and more. Their legacy lives on through these influential projects.

Pussy Galore's debut full length LP. Following several EPs Pussy Galore wound up a quartet on their first full length from 1987. Three guitars and drums (Jon Spencer/Julia Cafritz, Neil Hagarty, Bob Bert) deconstructing forms described as Captain Beefheart meeting the Cramps and Einsturzende Neubauten, recorded with bad microphones. Co-produced by Pussy Galore and a couple guys not credited on the album so we'll leave them out. Remastered in 2012 under the supervision of Jon Spencer.
