Comprised of 6 members hailing from East Berlin and Schwerin Germany, Rammstein's sound has been described as "monolithic metal music that is repetitive and hypnotic, with steely sound masses and dramatic song performance." Now available domestically is their "trailblazing" debut (originally released on Motor Music Germany). The group has caught the ear of director David Lynch; Rammstein will have 2 tracks featured on the upcoming soundtrack to his new film, Lost Highway.
