T-Model Ford was an American blues musician born on June 20, 1924 in Forest, Mississippi. He gained recognition for his raw and gritty style of Delta blues. With a career spanning several decades, T-Model Ford left a lasting impact on the blues genre.
His music is often compared to other influential artists such as Junior Kimbrough, Asie Payton, and R.L. Burnside. T-Model Ford's unique sound combined elements of traditional Delta blues with modern electric guitar techniques.
