The Anti Group (T.A.G.C.) was founded in 1978 by Adi Newton and Steven James Turner as a multi-dimensional research and development project. They focused on sound, film, video, performance, and documentation. Their first works included the film "The Delivery" and the theater performance "The Discussion". TAG then concentrated on audio development, creating the highly acclaimed Ambisonic Album based on ancient Khem and Dogon tribe ideas. They later explored psychophysics and performed at various festivals. TAG also delved into Meontological visual experiments and collaborated with organizations to aid expanded consciousness. After years of research, they have returned to the music scene with new releases.
During their early years, The Anti Group (T.A.G.C.) developed a multi-dimensional research &amp; development project focusing on sound, film, video, performance, and documentation. Their first works included the film "The Delivery" and the theater performance "The Discussion". These were presented at De Doelen center in Rotterdam in 1985.
Afterwards, TAG shifted their focus to audio development. During this period from 1985 to 1987 they created recordings such as the Ambisonic Album which drew inspiration from Sabean cults of ancient Khem and Dogon tribe of Mali. They then explored psychophysics using frequencies and psychoacoustics with computer aided technology.

Adi Newton is the frontman and vocalist of Clock DVA, one of the pioneering groups of the industrial and post punk scene of the 1980s. Over the past 40 years, his musical, artistic, esoteric and multimedia offerings have been enormously enriched and diversified and this has led him to found his personal music and post-media label ARMComm as well as the media company Anterior Research. Thanks to these operational tools, Adi Newton has increased his musical and conceptual proposal with works of great depth under the name The Anti Group (TAG) and TAGC, while continuing his activity as Clock DVA, and this has led him to become a point central reference in the world electronic scene. It is with pleasure that we announce with Organ Needles the first co-production between ARMComm and Rizosfera, and the simultaneous birth of the production house and label ARMComm Europe which will deal with musical and multimedia production related to the sound and theoretical universe of Adi Newton, Clock DVA, The Anti Group and all the collaborations born and engineered in the field of postpunk-industrial culture and European acoustic-visual-conceptual research.
