5. Colter Wall - <a href="https://roughtrade.com/us/music/colter-wall">Colter Wall​</a>

In demand by some of the world’s finest record labels, Colter Wall’s eponymous debut album proves why. As authentic as an artist 40 years his senior, his rumbling baritone and storytelling lyrics are reminiscent of Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. If this is the genesis, we can’t wait for the evolution.

He has released many studio albums since 2011 and is most noted for his work with producer Flying Lotus and thrash band Suicidal Tendencies. Thundercat is also a member of the Woke group.
With a career spanning over a decade, Thundercat has established himself as a highly skilled musician in the music industry. His unique style blends various genres, showcasing his versatility as a bass player.
