self-produced and initially released in an edition of 1000 copies on william parker's own centering records, the album was sold exclusively at gigs and through mail-order. it quickly sold out. in april of 2002, aum fidelity issued a second edition of 2000 copies in digipak format, making the album widely available. this edition too sold out within the year. it is now available again in a third edition of 3000 copies. 'o'neal's porch' is a tremendously gorgeous, deeply swinging, and highly inspired recording which brings great joy to all who hear it; destined to be a stone classic of this era.
