Ziggy Alberts released his fifth studio album, Searching for Freedom, showcasing his talents as an Australian singer-songwriter, free-surfer, and environmentalist.

This album comes after his well-received acoustic EP, Truly Acoustic, which was described by Culture Collide as "the perfect blend of relaxing, soulful guitar and wistful lyrics".

Before Searching for Freedom, Ziggy Alberts also collaborated with Sydney rap duo, Horrorshow, on the EP I Won't Give You Up.
