Gojira

Gojira is a progressive death metal band hailing from Ondres, France. Originally formed in 1996 as Godzilla, they later changed their name to Gojira in 2000 due to legal reasons. Led by Joseph Duplantier on guitar and vocals, the band also features Christian Andreu on guitar, Jean-Michel Labadie on bass, and Mario Duplantier on drums. With a unique blend of heavy riffs and intricate melodies, Gojira has become known for their powerful sound and thought-provoking lyrics.

In addition to their work with Gojira, Joe and Mario have a side-project called [a1540906], which has been on hiatus since 2005. This project showcases their versatility as musicians and further highlights their passion for creating innovative music.
