Gustavo Santaolalla

Gustavo Santaolalla is an Argentine musician, film composer, and producer. Born on August 19, 1952 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he has achieved recognition for his exceptional talent in the music industry. His work as a composer has earned him Academy Awards for Best Original Score in both 2005 (for Brokeback Mountain) and 2006 (for Babel). In addition to his musical accomplishments, Santaolalla is also the co-founder and president of Surco Records J.V., a prominent record label.
