Holly Johnson

William Holly Johnson, professionally known as Holly Johnson, is a British pop singer, musician, painter and writer. Born on 9 February 1960 in Liverpool, England, he is best known as the lead vocalist of Frankie Goes To Hollywood. Originally named William Johnson, he later changed his name to William Holly Johnson.

Holly Johnson rose to fame in the 1980s with the success of Frankie Goes To Hollywood's hit singles such as "Relax" and "The Power of Love." As a solo artist, he continued to release music that showcased his powerful vocals and unique style.

In addition to his musical career, Holly is also an accomplished painter and writer. His artwork has been exhibited internationally and his autobiography "A Bone In My Flute" was published in 1994.
