June Tabor

June Tabor, born on 31 December 1947 in Warwick, England, is an English folk singer. She gained recognition in 1976 with the release of her album 'Silly Sisters' alongside *Maddy Prior*. That same year, she also released her solo debut album 'Airs and Graces'. In collaboration with Maddy Prior again, they formed the duo known as *Silly Sisters*. Notably, June Tabor collaborated with the folk-rock band The Oyster Band for their album 'Freedom and Rain' in 1990. Her talent was acknowledged when she received the title of Folk Singer of the Year at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2004.
