Life Without Buildings

Life Without Buildings were a Glasgow, Scotland-based indie rock band. Formed in 1999 by ex-students of the Glasgow School of Art, the initial members included Will Bradley on drums, Chris Evans on bass, and Robert Johnston on guitar. Painter Sue Tompkins joined as the vocalist later that year. The band took their name from a track by English new wave band The Durutti Column. Despite their short-lived career, Life Without Buildings left an indelible mark on the music scene before breaking up in 2002.
