Mogwai

Scottish 'post-rock' band formed in Glasgow in 1995 by Stuart Braithwaite (guitars, vocals), Dominic Aitchison (guitars) and Martin Bulloch (drums). John Cummings soon joined as an additional guitarist.

Brendan O'Hare, formerly of Teenage Fanclub, temporarily joined the band in 1997 and contributed to their debut LP Young Team. O'Hare left at the end of that year. After touring with Mogwai in the summer of 1998, multi-instrumentalist Barry Burns was invited to become a full-time member.
