Paul Young

Paul Young is a pop-soul singer from Luton, Bedfordshire, England. He started his career in the band Kool Kat & The Kool Kats before joining Streetband and later forming The Q Tips. In 1982, he embarked on a successful solo career with the No.1 hit "Wherever I Lay My Hat" and the album "No Parlez". Paul's backing band is called The Royal Family, and his backing vocalists are known as The Fabulous Wealthy Tarts. He married Stacey Young (née Smith) in November 1988.
