Red Snapper

Red Snapper are a British instrumental band founded in London in 1993 by Ali Friend (double bass), Richard Thair (drums), and David Ayers (guitar). The three core members are also joined by various guest musicians and vocalists on different records.

In early 2002, Red Snapper split up and went their separate ways focusing on solo projects. However, they regrouped in 2007 with the addition of Tom Challenger on saxophone. Since then, they have been touring and released a new album in 2011.

During their live performances, Red Snapper has been joined by talented vocalists Anna Haigh and Alison David, as well as keyboardist Jake Williams and MC Det. Their unique sound blends elements of jazz, funk, electronic music, and more.
