Royal Blood

Royal Blood is a British rock duo band formed in Brighton in 2012. Their sound is rooted in modern garage rock and blues rock.

The band, composed of bassist/singer Mike Kerr and drummer Ben Thatcher, was formed in Worthing in 2013. They gained attention when Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders was seen supporting them at Glastonbury Festival before the release of their first single. In November 2013, Royal Blood released their debut single "Out of the Black". They went on to support Arctic Monkeys for two shows and were nominated for BBC Sound of 2014.

Following the success of their first single, Royal Blood released "Little Monster" and a four-track EP featuring their previous songs. Their self-titled debut album was released in August 2014. The band performed at various festivals including South by Southwest, Liverpool Sound City, Download Festival, and Glastonbury Festival. They continue to captivate audiences with their energetic performances.
