The Armed

The Armed is an Italo synth-funk crossover act that emerged in the early 1980s. The band was formed in Vicenza, Italy by producer Maurizio Sangineto (Sangy) and vocalists Joe Bunch, Kenny Claiborne, and James Otis White Jr., who were stationed at a nearby US military base. Despite their short-lived existence of about 2 to 3 years, the band faced challenges in keeping its US and Italian members together.
