The Beautiful South

The Beautiful South is an English alternative rock group that was formed in the late 1980s by two former members of Hull group The Housemartins. With their unique sound and thought-provoking lyrics, they quickly gained popularity and became a prominent figure in the music industry. However, after a successful run, the group sadly disbanded in January 2007.
