They Might Be Giants
They Might Be Giants is an alternative/indie rock band that was formed in 1982 by John Linnell and John Flansburgh. With a unique sound and quirky lyrics, they quickly gained a dedicated following. Initially accompanied by a drum machine, the band later expanded to include a backing band in 1992.
The current backing band members include Dan Miller on guitar since 1998, Danny Weinkauf on bass since 1998, Marty Beller on drums since 2004, and [brass player] who joined in 2017.
Over the years, They Might Be Giants has had several former backing band members including Eric Schermerhorn (guitar), Jay Sherman-Godfrey (guitar), Graham Maby (bass), Hal Cragin (bass), Tony Maimone (bass), Dan Hickey (drums), Brian Doherty (drums), Jonathan Feinberg (drums), and Kurt Hoffman (keyboard and woodwinds).
