Trip hop group Archive, hailing from the UK, was formed in 1994 by [artist1] and [artist2], along with female singer [singer1] and young rapper [rapper]. They released their debut album [album1] but disbanded in 1996 due to internal disputes. However, they later reformed in 1999 with a new lineup and released their second album [album2]. Over the years, Archive has continued to evolve their sound, incorporating elements of rock, electronic, and pop. They have received critical acclaim for albums like [album3], [album4], and "[album5]." In addition to their studio work, Archive has also composed soundtracks for films.

Archive's music has garnered international success, reaching the top of the charts in countries like France and Greece. Their single "Bullets" became a fan favorite and even featured in the teaser trailer for Cyberpunk 2077. Produced by Archive and long time collaborator Jérome Devoise, Call To Arms and Angels is the band’s first studio set since 2016’s The False Foundation.

Talking about the new album Darius Keeler says, “Writing our twelfth studio album was an extraordinary time for the band. The song writing became an unfolding narrative as the world got stranger and more disturbing everyday. With people’s freedoms being pushed to the brink, the suffering Covid caused and the terrible events in the US lead by Trump and the rise of the Right, anything seemed possible.

To reflect on these times as artists brought up a darkness and an anger, but also a strange kind of inspiration that was at times unsettling. It really made us appreciate the power of music and how lucky we are to be able to express our feelings in this way. It seems there is light at the end of the tunnel, but there are always shadows within that light”.
