Johnny Burnette was an American singer-songwriter and rockabilly musician. Born on March 25, 1934 in Memphis, TN, United States, he became known for his energetic performances and catchy songs. Alongside his brother Dorsey Burnette, Johnny made a significant impact on the music scene during the 1950s and early 1960s.

Influenced by artists such as Gene Vincent & His Blue Caps, Jack Scott, and Eddie Cochran, Johnny Burnette's music combined elements of country, blues, and rock 'n' roll. He had a distinctive voice that captivated audiences and helped him stand out among his peers.

Tragically, Johnny's life was cut short when he passed away on August 14, 1964 in Clear Lake, CA at the age of just 30. Despite his untimely death, his contributions to rockabilly music continue to be celebrated today.
