The Midnight is a synthwave duo comprised of singer-songwriter and producer Tim McEwan, based in Los Angeles, and singer-songwriter Tyler Lyle, based in New York. Their music is heavily influenced by the sounds of the 80s, producing genres such as Synthwave, Dreamwave, and Retrowave. They made their debut in 2014 with the release of their EP 'Days Of Thunder'. In 2016, they released their first full-length album titled 'Endless Summer', followed by the 'Nocturnal' EP in October 2017.
