Tina Turner, born on November 26, 1939 in Brownsville, Tennessee, was an American rock singer, actress and author. Known as 'The Queen Of Rock 'n' Roll', she possessed a powerful blues-soaked voice that captivated audiences worldwide. Turner's career took off in the 1960s with hits like "River Deep, Mountain High" alongside her husband at the time. Despite enduring years of abuse, she found the strength to separate from him and share her story in her autobiography "I, Tina". In the 1980s, producer Rupert Hine played a pivotal role in relaunching her career.

Turner made a remarkable comeback with singles such as "Let's Stay Together" and the album "Private Dancer", which propelled her back into mainstream success. She also showcased her acting skills as 'The Acid Queen' in "Tommy" and 'Aunt Entity' in "Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome". Her single "We Don't Need Another Hero", featured in the film's theme song, became another chart-topping hit for Turner.

In 2008, after a period of semi-retirement, Turner embarked on her highly successful "Tina!: 50th Anniversary Tour", which became one of the biggest ticket-selling tours of that year. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Tina Turner's What's Love Got To Do With It, a brand new collection of special edition albums will be released on April 26th. The 4CD/1DVD box contains the remastered original album on CD1, while CD2 contains a collection of edits, remixes and acapellas. CD3 and 4 contain Tina's live show at the Blockbuster Pavilion in 1993, which is also featured on the DVD, as well as three music videos. The box set also includes a poster and a 24-page booklet. Other formats of the album include a single LP and a double CD.

Originally released on June 15, 1993, What's Love Got To Do With It was a commercial and critical success. The album was the soundtrack for the biographical film of the same name about Tina Turner and reached number 1 in the UK, as well as the top 10 in Switzerland, Germany, Austria and Canada and the top 20 in the USA. The album was certified platinum worldwide, including in the United Kingdom, the United States and Switzerland. It was a collection of songs, some of which were re-recorded from Tina's Ike &amp; Tina Turner period, including 'A Fool In Love', as well as five brand new songs, one of which - 'I Don't Wanna Fight' - both in the It became a top 10 hit in both the UK and the US.
