Boston Spaceships

Boston Spaceships was a rock band formed by *Robert Pollard* and Chris Slusarenko of Guided By Voices, along with John Moen of The Decemberists and Perhapst. The band released several albums before disbanding in 2011, with their final album Let it Beard.

The name "Boston Spaceships" was inspired by a nickname given to the Boston cream donut from Krispy Kreme, which happens to be *Pollard's* favorite donut. With their unique blend of rock music, the band gained a dedicated following during their active years.
